About the role#

The Intern-Nurse I provides technical assistance to support quality patient outcomes. You will work under the direction of registered nurses to provide service functions and support to patients, staff, and guests.

What you'll do#

Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
Contribute to, implement, and evaluate plans of care as directed.
Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and complete assigned goals.
Build your knowledge of clinical leadership through ongoing educational activities.

What you'll need#

Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
Computer literacy skills.
BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of the hire date.

Location: Starkville, Mississippi.
Work modality: On-site.
