About the role#
This position offers nursing students the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience. You will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate care to patients. This is a part-time, PRN role with varying shifts.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks related to patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with clinical duties in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to support patient needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN program, or higher.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Instructor recommendations and verification of competencies.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and critical thinking skills.
- A positive attitude.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- A Certified Nursing License (CNA) and six months of experience in a hospital or long-term care facility are preferred.
