About the role#
This position is exclusively for Baker Tilly Summer 2026 intern conversions. As a Tax or Audit Associate, you will serve as a trusted member of engagement teams, delivering professional services to a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time, on-site role designed for individuals looking to launch a career in accounting and build professional relationships through direct coaching and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services for S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations.
- Conduct tax research projects on various tax issues.
- Perform substantive testing on client balance sheets and income statements.
- Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather necessary information and address questions.
- Learn from direct on-the-job coaching and participate in firm-wide professional development programs.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, law, or a related business field.
- Outstanding academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong skills in time management, communication, and interpersonal interaction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
