About the role#
This position is exclusively for current Summer 2026 Baker Tilly interns looking to transition into a full-time Managed Services Associate role. You will join the Managed Services practice to help clients modernize their finance operations through cloud technology, scalable processes, and outsourced accounting solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work across various industries while building a professional foundation within the firm.
What you'll do#
- Support client onboarding, accounting process improvements, and cloud accounting system implementations.
- Deliver outsourced accounting services, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and general ledger support.
- Manage tasks for multiple clients in a cloud-based environment while developing client service and project management skills.
- Collaborate with associates, managers, and partners through hands-on client engagements.
- Build professional relationships and establish a foundation for a career at the firm.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Must be a current Summer 2026 Baker Tilly intern.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Outstanding academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Interest in cloud accounting technology, process improvement, and client service.
- Progress toward CPA eligibility or interest in pursuing the designation is a plus.
