About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current Baker Tilly Summer 2026 interns seeking conversion. As a Managed Services Associate in HR Consulting, you will assist in the administration of payroll and employee benefit programs. You will work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to provide support and ensure accurate service delivery.
What you'll do#
- Administer employee benefit programs, including FSAs, HSAs, commuter benefits, Section 125 plans, and other tax-advantaged benefits.
- Support payroll and HR administration by processing employee transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with payroll-related activities.
- Process benefit enrollments, eligibility changes, life events, and terminations while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to employee, client, and vendor inquiries regarding HR, payroll, and benefits.
- Participate in client meetings, contribute to continuous process improvements, and engage in professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in human resources, payroll, benefits administration, or a related client service role is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with experience in HRIS, payroll, or benefits administration systems considered a plus.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
