About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Seattle, Washington. This role is designed for students at Gonzaga Law who are participating in the OCI program and are interested in building a career in public accounting. You will receive hands-on experience through real work engagements and participate in professional orientation and technical training programs.
What you'll do#
- Deliver tax advisory and compliance services to clients.
- Conduct research and prepare memorandums on state and local tax (SALT) issues.
- Assist with M&A due diligence and various compliance matters.
- Work on projects involving diverse tax types, including sales and use, income, franchise, gross receipts, property, and excise taxes.
- Collaborate with associates, managers, and partners across various industries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Gonzaga Law with participation in the OCI program.
- Enrollment in an accounting, law, or related business program with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA or Bar exam.
- Ability to work full time for the duration of the internship.
- Outstanding academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
