About the role#
This position is exclusively for current Baker Tilly Summer 2026 interns. As a Business Risk Consultant, you will join an advisory practice focused on helping clients assess risks, improve governance, and navigate complex business environments. This is a full-time role designed for individuals looking to build expertise in compliance, enterprise risk management, and internal controls within an AI-enabled firm.
What you'll do#
- Think strategically about client business models, systems, and associated risks.
- Collaborate with clients to develop solutions that drive positive change.
- Work directly with client executives and management teams regarding risk and control frameworks.
- Contribute to the development and growth of the internal team.
- Gain experience working within an AI-enabled practice and firm.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, Health Administration, Information Systems, or a technology-related field.
- Outstanding academic performance, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Relevant internship or work experience, or active involvement in a professional organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as needed for client projects.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- This is an on-site role. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of a Baker Tilly office.
- Office locations include New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Milwaukee, WI; Washington, DC; Tewksbury, MA; Irvine, CA; Frisco, TX; and Nashville, TN.
