About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain real-world experience in private wealth management. You will work alongside Financial Advisors and their teams, applying classroom knowledge to professional tasks. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week in our Lexington office.
What you'll do#
- Support projects for Financial Advisors, including research and report reviews.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
- Assist with financial planning and market research.
- Handle administrative tasks, phone calls, and basic client questions.
- Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
- Process documents and paperwork.
- Take on other duties as needed to support the team.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Your anticipated graduation date is December 2027 or later.
- You have a clear interest in financial services and a career in private wealth management.
- You communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- You are motivated, proactive, and ready to learn.
- Previous office experience is preferred.

- Location: Lexington, Kentucky.
- Term: Summer 2027, beginning in June.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
