About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the medical equipment industry. You will work with the R & D Active Devices team on pump development projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to technical initiatives and present your findings to department leadership at the end of your term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with software development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support automation, data analysis, and process improvement projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to build technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Analyze data to support application and database projects.
- Present project results and key learnings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (with software experience).
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interpret technical information and apply it to practical solutions.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and engineering concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with C#, C++, C, Python, SQL.NET, PHP, or Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
