About the role#
The Accounts Payable and Accounting Intern supports daily financial operations while gaining hands-on experience in business systems. This six-month position involves invoice management, vendor communication, and general accounting support. You will work 30 hours per week and gain a broad understanding of financial processes and best practices.
What you'll do#
- Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail and invoices.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox and route inquiries to the team.
- Review and forward invoices through Coupa for processing.
- Assist with vendor statement reviews and follow-up tasks.
- Download utility invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Assist with invoice entry and coding procedures.
- Maintain electronic records and supporting documentation.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior coursework in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP or invoice management systems is a plus.

- This role is located on-site in Voorhees Twp, New Jersey.
- This is a paid internship.
- This position is part-time at 30 hours per week.
