About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Utility Worker at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term. You will work nights and weekends to support our kitchen operations.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a dish machine.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
- Store clean dishes and cooking equipment in the proper locations.
- Receive product from vendors and organize stock.
- Remove trash and place it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean and rotate items in the walk-in cooler.
What you'll need#
- Ability to learn standard dishwashing methods and equipment.
- Capacity for continuous physical effort, including frequent bending, walking, and lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Focus on high customer service standards.
- Previous dishwashing experience is preferred.
