About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring students from R. Benjamin Wiley Community Charter School to join our food service team. This is a paid, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food according to temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, and necessary utensils.
- Serve guests in dining and retail areas.
- Greet guests, make eye contact, and provide friendly service.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at R. Benjamin Wiley Community Charter School.
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
