About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker to join the team at Mt. St. Joseph University. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with rolling availability.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a consistent pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members and other departments.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with supervisors, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
