About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Cashier to work on-site at Wofford College. This is a full-time, paid position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
You will handle daily register operations and interact with guests. Your main tasks include:
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Input product costs and provide correct change to guests.
- Greet, engage, and thank every guest.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Prepare products and manage stock levels.
- Set up proper signage when required.
- Support team members to create a positive environment.
What you'll need#
- Prior experience as a cashier is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to record transactions and calculate change accurately.
- Comfort working in busy environments.
