About the role#
Availity is hiring an Automation Engineer Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the team responsible for developing tools and processes that improve operational excellence and incident management. You will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology while learning industry best practices from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and enhancing tools used to manage infrastructure incidents.
- Learn operational workflows and incident response processes.
- Explore the use of AI agents to improve operational efficiency and automation.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve operational tooling and user experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation timeline between December 2026 and December 2027.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, networking, or cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote position.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Video participation is required for all virtual meetings to ensure team connectivity and security.
