About the role#
Ragle Inc is hiring a Data Engineering Intern for a 10-week summer program in 2027. You will work on-site in North Richland Hills, Texas, to develop software and analyze data that supports our heavy civil construction operations. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Write software and analyze data to improve team efficiency.
- Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for operational, fleet, toll, telematics, and compliance data.
- Use Python, Node.js, SQL, and Azure tools to automate workflows.
- Develop Power BI dashboards to track equipment activity and business performance.
- Support integrations with systems like Samsara and Gauge.
- Participate in Git-based development, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues with guidance from the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic experience with Python, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, databases, APIs, Power BI, or cloud technologies.
- A foundational understanding of programming, relational data, and software development.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full 10-week duration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
