About the role#
The Marketing Intern position at Attain Sports provides students with hands-on experience in the professional sports industry. You will work alongside our marketing team to build your professional network and engage directly with our fan base. This is a part-time, unpaid internship designed for current students who are receiving academic credit for their participation.
What you'll do#
- Promote events and team initiatives by distributing marketing materials in the community.
- Create promotional content including fliers, print graphics, and web materials.
- Manage social media coverage for public appearances and events.
- Design graphics and produce video content for game day social media updates.
- Shadow marketing staff to learn the operations of a professional sports team.
- Represent the organization at community events and appearances.
- Perform as the team mascot, Keyote, when required.
- Work home games and events held at Nymeo Field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Requirement to receive college credit for this internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Facebook, Instagram, and X.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or other Adobe software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- An enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to accept constructive feedback.
