Student Project Coordinator

About the role#

The Student Project Coordinator is a junior role supporting Project Managers and Senior Technical Leads in the execution of nuclear refurbishment, reactor inspection, and new-nuclear projects. You will work within a team of project and engineering personnel, performing tasks related to engineering administration and project management. This position may involve short-term field service assignments at customer sites, which may include work in radiological environments.

What you'll do#

• Organize, host, and record minutes for project and customer meetings.
• Collect data and status updates to support project scheduling.
• Update project Key Performance Indexes (KPIs).
• Maintain a log of project lessons learned.
• Perform administrative and analytical reviews, including document revisions.
• Study and apply quality procedures relevant to engineering and project administration.
• Assist with tooling set-up and operation during field assignments as required.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Science, Business Administration, or related fields (Engineering students preferred).
• Experience supporting projects in construction, manufacturing, or engineering services.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• A strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for CANDU Energy Inc. and customer facilities.
