About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is looking for an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based in our Denver, Colorado office. You will work on-site and participate in our intern development initiative, which includes mentorship, client site visits, and weekly learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operations support for the team.
- Compile data and prepare project reports.
- Use software like AutoCAD or MicroStation to create schematics, drawings, and design plans.
- Assist with the preparation of design plans and traffic signal models.
- Coordinate with your team to ensure project consistency with company policies.
- Attend project and organization-related group meetings.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree by Summer 2027.
- Enrollment in an ABET accredited program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred but not required.
