About the role#
ATCS is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid position based in Glen Allen, Virginia. You will work in a hybrid capacity, combining on-site collaboration with other project work. We aim to provide exposure to real-world projects and mentorship from our staff. Please specify your technical interests and preferred office location in your application.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers and staff across various project tasks.
- Prepare engineering and design documents using specialized software and equipment.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze project data.
- Collaborate with team members to complete project goals.
- Provide administrative support to keep projects moving forward.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is a plus.
