About the role#
ATCS is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Herndon, Virginia. You will work alongside our staff on transportation projects and receive mentorship throughout the summer. What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with project support tasks.
- Use design software and equipment to prepare engineering documents.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze project data.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assignments.
- Provide administrative support to keep projects moving.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is a plus.
