About the role#
ATCO is hiring two students for a Data Analytics Co-op position within the Customer Operations team. This is an 8-month, full-time, paid position based on-site in Edmonton, Alberta, starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support initiatives to improve business processes and policies.
- Maintain and improve internal calculators and tools used by metering and billing groups.
- Use Microsoft Automate and PowerApps to support application development projects.
- Extract, analyze, and reconcile metering and billing data from various systems.
- Inform business decisions through data management, modeling, analysis, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate co-op or internship program at a recognized Canadian university.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
