About the role#
Join ATC as a Construction Project Management Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting utility projects that keep the electric grid running. You will collaborate with project managers to learn how we plan, execute, and oversee large-scale infrastructure work.
What you'll do#
- Support the tracking of project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks.
- Apply software tools to assist with project delivery.
- Gain exposure to utility construction practices, internal reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Review and edit project data.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings.
- Manage purchase orders and invoices for the project management department and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.
- Interest in learning how projects run in a regulated utility environment.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a drive to support team success.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Pewaukee, De Pere, or Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.
- The pay range for this position is $21 to $23 per hour.
