About the role#
ATA is seeking a seasonal Tax Intern to join the team for the Summer 2027 term. This position offers hands-on experience with tax processes and the opportunity to contribute to professional projects while developing technical skills in an accounting environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of tax documents.
- Support compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on tax-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Communicate clear and concise updates to team members and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Availability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
