    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will spend six months gaining hands-on experience at the New Madrid Power Plant. This paid internship allows you to step beyond the classroom, work with experienced professionals, and see how electrical engineering supports safe, reliable power generation.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to electrical engineering projects that support power plant operations, reliability, and performance.
    • Work alongside engineers and plant professionals who provide guidance, mentoring, and practical insight.
    • Apply classroom knowledge to real-world electrical systems, equipment, and engineering challenges.
    • Build technical and problem-solving skills through a six-month immersive experience in the utility industry.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take an active role in engineering projects.
    • Ability to commit to a six-month co-op internship.
