About the role#
ArtsQuest is looking for a Public Relations Intern to support our media relations and communications efforts. This role provides experience in a nonprofit arts and culture organization. You will work on projects ranging from writing press releases to coordinating media appearances for performers. This position is paid and requires on-site work in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Write, edit, and proofread content for our website, blog, and various publications.
- Draft press releases, media advisories, and articles.
- Create content for social media accounts.
- Identify and pitch media opportunities.
- Generate media lists and track media coverage.
- Conduct interviews with artists, performers, and donors.
- Coordinate photo shoots and media appearances for performers.
- Assist with printed and digital communications for our programs and events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to earn academic credit for the internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience writing for publication.
- Relevant coursework in public relations, journalism, or marketing.
- Ability to set and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Photography, video, and editing skills are a plus.

- Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026, rolling basis.
- Commitment: At least 16 hours per week or as needed to fulfill credit requirements.
