About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term in Buford, Georgia. This internship provides exposure to real-world engineering work through projects that support municipalities and public agencies. You will build technical skills while working alongside professionals in the civil engineering industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection networks.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical memoranda, reports, and specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling, material quantity take-offs, and engineering calculations.
- Participate in field investigations, site inspections, field tests, and measurements.
- Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and assist with construction cost estimates.
- Support project scheduling, permitting, and regulatory compliance documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
