About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This full-time internship provides exposure to engineering work on projects for municipalities and public agencies. You will build technical skills while contributing to real-world infrastructure assignments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection networks.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical memoranda, reports, and specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and material quantity take-offs.
- Participate in field investigations, site inspections, measurements, and field tests.
- Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and assist with construction cost estimates.
- Support project scheduling, permitting, and regulatory compliance documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
