About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Utilities Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in Seattle. This role provides exposure to real-world engineering through assignments that contribute to the planning, design, and construction of utilities. You will work alongside project engineers to gain technical skills and explore a career in the engineering industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Provide general support to project teams, including helping with proposal materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Exposure to or familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
