About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Utilities Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Everett, Washington, and offers exposure to engineering work related to the planning, design, and construction of utilities. You will work on-site as part of a team to build your technical skills and gain experience in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations under the guidance of project engineers.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums with direction from the team.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Use company-wide and department-specific software to complete assignments.
- Provide general support to project teams, including assistance with proposal materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
