About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This role supports engineering assignments for various transportation projects serving municipalities and public agencies. You will gain exposure to real-world engineering work while building technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure, including roadway, drainage, signing, and pavement markings.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical memoranda, reports, and specifications.
- Conduct engineering calculations, transportation design, modeling, and material quantity take-offs.
- Participate in field investigations, site inspections, tests, and measurements.
- Support project scheduling, permitting, and regulatory compliance documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and GIS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Bluebeam.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team of professionals.

- The position is based on-site in Orlando or Maitland, Florida.
