About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Public Works Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This full-time position provides exposure to the planning, design, and construction of public works projects. You will work with professional engineers to build technical skills and gain practical experience in the civil engineering industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Utilize software tools to complete project assignments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
