About the role#
Ardurra is hiring an HVAC Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Cherry Hill office. You will work under supervision to apply standard engineering techniques to various building and infrastructure projects. This role provides hands-on experience in mechanical system design and analysis while supporting our professional staff on day-to-day project tasks.
What you'll do#
- Perform HVAC system design, including heating and cooling load calculations, ductwork and piping systems, and equipment selection.
- Assist with technical documentation, basic engineering calculations, system layouts, data collection, and site visits.
- Organize project data, draft reports, and provide technical support for departmental projects.
- Support project teams with administrative and technical assignments.
- Contribute to project deliverables by applying engineering concepts and software tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
