About the role#
Ardurra is hiring an Energy Services Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026. This full-time position provides exposure to engineering projects, including pipelines, transmission lines, and renewable energy infrastructure. You will work with project managers and engineering teams to build your technical skills and gain experience in the energy and power industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, drawings, and site layouts.
- Support the preparation of technical specifications, engineering reports, and project recommendations.
- Perform field tests, measurements, and data collection.
- Use AutoCAD or other design tools to support project deliverables.
- Assist with construction oversight, including documenting field observations and writing daily reports.
- Help with material quantity take-offs and gather budgetary quotes from vendors.
- Contribute to conceptual design activities and quality control efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
