About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our office in Yardley, Pennsylvania. You will work under supervision to support municipal and civil engineering projects. This role involves applying standard engineering techniques to tasks related to public infrastructure, site development, and municipal design. You will gain experience in the project development process, from initial planning through construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design tasks for roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvement projects.
- Support engineers with data collection, basic calculations, reports, specifications, and project schedules.
- Prepare plans, exhibits, maps, and other design documents for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits to document existing conditions.
- Review civil drawings and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and as a self-motivated individual.
- Familiarity with engineering software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or Bluebeam is a plus.

- This is an on-site position based in Yardley, Pennsylvania.
- The role is full-time and paid.
