About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This role involves working under supervision to apply standard engineering techniques to municipal and civil projects. You will gain exposure to the full design and development process, including planning, permitting, and construction. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers with project data collection, basic engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules.
- Assist with civil and municipal design tasks, including roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvement projects.
- Prepare plans, exhibits, maps, and other design documents.
- Review civil drawings, plans, and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits to document existing infrastructure and site conditions.
- Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A basic understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, infrastructure, or municipal systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
