About the role#
Ardurra is hiring an Aviation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in Meridian, Idaho. This internship provides exposure to engineering work, helping you build technical skills while you explore a career in aviation infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, and design components for airport infrastructure projects.
- Perform material quantity take-offs and contact vendors to obtain budgetary quotes for cost estimating.
- Assist with construction inspection and provide on-site project representation during the construction season.
- Perform field tests, measurements, and data collection to support design and construction efforts.
- Support project managers with documentation, technical memoranda, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members on various aviation assignments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
