About the role#
Interns in the Infrastructure team assist with the identification, analysis, and execution of investment opportunities while managing existing portfolio assets. This role provides a view of infrastructure private equity, covering the process from deal sourcing to asset and client management. You will work as an integral part of the team and take on significant responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Support investment teams with financial analysis, valuation, and modeling.
- Create and review financial models, including business forecasts, return analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Analyze new deal opportunities and investment perimeters through ad-hoc reviews.
- Assist with asset management tasks, such as arranging debt refinancing or working with management teams on growth initiatives.
- Prepare internal deal materials, including investment memoranda and valuation presentations.
- Support the co-investment team by liaising with deal teams and potential co-investors.
- Prepare asset management reports and communicate with clients.
What you'll need#
- A degree completed or in progress from a leading university or business school, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills.
