About the role#
The Student Worker for Quotations assists our team by monitoring Outlook inboxes, entering quote requests into our systems, and managing project tasks. This role requires dependability and strong customer service skills. You will work in a team setting to meet department goals.
What you'll do#
- Monitor assigned Outlook inboxes.
- Enter quote requests into IQS and Mainframe.
- Review quote requests to determine if they can be sent directly to the customer or if they need analyst review.
- Handle quote bookings and create bills of lading.
- Communicate with team members and customers.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, specifically with Excel, spreadsheets, and reporting.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- You possess strong skills in problem solving, managing multiple priorities, and interpersonal relationships.
- You demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
- This is a part-time, hourly role averaging fewer than 30 hours per week.
- Typical work hours are between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with occasional irregular hours based on workload.
- Travel requirements are minimal, ranging from 0% to 25%.
