UNC Student Social Media Summer intern: Carolina Dining Services

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time summer internship for Summer 2026 based on-site in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The role focuses on managing the social media presence for Carolina Dining Services, requiring a blend of creative content production and strategic engagement.

What you'll do#

• Manage and create content across social media platforms to engage the student community.
• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies.
• Monitor channels to track feedback and maintain active engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to promote dining events and initiatives.
• Analyze performance metrics to evaluate and adjust social media strategies.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical experience with social media platforms and content creation.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A genuine interest in food service and community engagement.
