About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for Summer 2026 based on-site in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The role focuses on managing the social media presence for Carolina Dining Services, requiring a blend of creative content production and strategic engagement.
What you'll do#
- Manage and create content across social media platforms to engage the student community.
- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies.
- Monitor channels to track feedback and maintain active engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to promote dining events and initiatives.
- Analyze performance metrics to evaluate and adjust social media strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Practical experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A genuine interest in food service and community engagement.
