About the role#
As a Student Worker, you will maintain and clean assigned areas to ensure client and customer satisfaction. This role involves following established procedures to keep the facility safe and orderly. You will work on-site in Morehead, Kentucky.
What you'll do#
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Follow safety procedures, including those related to OSHA regulations.
- Report maintenance issues by submitting work orders to the right team.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as needed.
- Manage the storage and disposal of trash according to site procedures.
- Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Comfort with physical tasks like bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to follow safety precautions when working with hazardous chemicals.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Current enrollment as a student in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
