About the role#
The Student Worker - Functional position involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to meet client satisfaction. You will help maintain an orderly environment that supports the health and safety of others.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas according to company and client standards.
- Follow procedures for the storage and disposal of trash.
- Report maintenance concerns by submitting work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking or unlocking buildings as required.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including those related to hazardous chemicals and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow basic safety precautions.
