About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position at Aramark. We are looking for individuals to help maintain our facilities in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role is open to students across various fields including Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Human Resources, and Logistics.
What you'll do#
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Keep the environment orderly to ensure the safety and health of others.
- Follow specific procedures for the storage and disposal of trash.
- Use and maintain housekeeping equipment properly.
- Report maintenance concerns by submitting work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as required.
- Protect company assets while on duty.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures, including those related to hazardous chemicals.
What you'll need#
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of items weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Capability to handle physical demands such as bending, extended walking, and standing.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment as required.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
