About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Student Worker position for a Barista at the Starbucks location on the Mississippi State University campus. The role is available for the Summer 2026 term and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items.
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent service.
- Operate the cash register to process transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience with cash handling.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- This role is open to students majoring in Business Administration, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, or Psychology.
