The Culinary Supervisor Intern position is a full-time, paid summer internship opportunity based on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role provides hands-on experience in kitchen operations and team leadership within a hospitality environment.
What you'll do#
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation.
- Ensure all food quality and presentation meet established standards.
- Assist with inventory control and the ordering of kitchen supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
- Train new staff members on kitchen procedures and operational workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a culinary program or a related field of study.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-volume environments.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
