About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026 based in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Catering Services Supervisor Intern will support the daily operations of catering services at the University of Nebraska.
What you'll do#
- Oversee daily catering operations and manage staff schedules.
- Assist in the planning and execution of catering events.
- Ensure all operations comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Provide customer service to guests and clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Human Resources.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in food service and catering is preferred.
