About the role#
This summer internship offers a 10-week experience within the Quantitative Research team. You will work directly with researchers and portfolio managers to identify trading strategies across event contracts, including finance, economics, sports, politics, culture, and crypto. The program includes the Quanta Academy Summer Term, which provides over 40 hours of educational and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Acquire and clean data sets for research.
- Build and refine predictive models.
- Analyze backtested trading strategies.
- Transform research findings into actionable trading strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on projects that impact our clients.
What you'll need#
- You must be a degree candidate graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028 from a top program in finance, economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills are required, with a preference for Python and experience in AI.
- Familiarity with prediction markets, option pricing, contingent claim pricing, and data science.
- A documented interest in sports, politics, and financial analytics.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team.
