About the role#
This 10-week summer internship places you within the Business Development group at AQR. You will join either the U.S. Institutional team, which focuses on prospective investors and consultants, or the U.S. Wealth team, which manages relationships with taxable investors and advisors. You will work alongside senior team members to maintain and develop client relationships across the United States.
What you'll do#
- Interact with sophisticated investors and investment management professionals.
- Support senior team members in determining business strategy, including new product development.
- Gain exposure to the senior leadership of AQR investment teams.
- Coordinate with Business Development colleagues to customize marketing materials for clients and prospects.
- Manage the firm's resources to respond to investor inquiries.
- Develop a technical understanding of AQR products and the firm's internal functions.
What you'll need#
- Graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Academic background in Economics, Finance, Business, or a Science, Quantitative, or Engineering program.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Clear, mature written and verbal communication skills.
