About the role#
As an analyst in Research and Portfolio Management Engineering, you will help turn quantitative insights into systematic investment strategies. You will work alongside researchers to create new strategies and improve existing ones. This role requires applying technical expertise to implement research ideas and develop systems that support the business.
What you'll do#
- Build and extend data ingestion and validation engines.
- Maintain infrastructure and tooling environments.
- Orchestrate complex workflows involving large amounts of data.
- Develop tools for portfolio rebalancing, order generation, and historical simulation.
- Work with scalable, cloud-based storage and computing infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Ability and desire to develop in Python and Java.
- Understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of best practices for large-scale application design, including microservices, distributed compute, containers, and cloud use.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on testing.
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience or understanding of finance is a plus.
