About the role#
As a Research Summer Analyst, you will experience the day-to-day life of a researcher at AQR. You will work alongside portfolio managers to study financial markets, analyze market data, and contribute to the development of quantitative investment strategies. The program lasts 10 weeks and includes access to the Quanta Academy Summer Term curriculum, which provides over 40 hours of educational and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Engage in the development of proprietary quantitative investment strategies.
- Perform statistical and economic research on financial data for systematic strategies.
- Work with portfolio managers to assist in the implementation of investment strategies.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and will graduate in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Your major is in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- You have strong problem solving and quantitative skills.
- You possess programming skills, with a preference for Python.
- You can communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
